2013
I’ve always had a passion for bicycles, and a passion for making things. This project represents the objective confluence of those two passions. The frame layout is inspired by the classic steel road racers from the golden era of cycling, with a short wheelbase and quick steering geometry. But the bike is made mechanically current with all sealed bearings, disk brakes and an internally geared eleven speed hub. From concept to my first ride, the project took two years to complete, meticulously built of chrome-moly tubing, with custom CNC machined dropouts and bridges. The bike is shown here with a gun-metal finish, but it now sports a satin charcoal powder coat.
